What's on the Agenda for Next Week?

Book Fair started today!! We will visit it as a class on Monday afternoon so the students can purchase books and make a wish list. They will also have an opportunity to go by themselves if they have money next week.

Interims- It is hard to believe we are already half way through the first nine weeks of third grade. If you would like to see your child's average in each subject, please log on to Parent Portal.

Math- We will wrap up our first topic in math on multiplication and division with a test on Wednesday. We will start learning about time. Don't worry...we will revisit multiplication and division again! Math Newsletter

*I'm going to start Fast Facts with the class. These are timed multiplication "tests" (not graded) they will take starting with their 2's and ending with their 12's. The goal is for them to master their facts before 4th grade. Your child can practice with flash cards or games online. Here are just a few...

Science- We are focusing on the plant and animal adaptations in Rain Forests, Temperate Forests and the Arctic Tundra.

Social Studies- We are learning about the human and physical features in the six regions of South Carolina. Look for information on a region project to come home this week or next.
