The students did great with MAP testing this week. I will share their results with you at your child's conference. If you haven't signed up for a conference yet, please look at the post earlier in the week.
The first collection of Box Tops will be Friday, September 18th. Please look for an email with a collection sheet and a flyer about what you can send in with your child to help earn money for our school.
Language Arts- We continue looking at the story "Amazing Grace". We are focusing on character traits, types of sentences and cause and effect. The students will have a test on "Amazing Grace" on Thursday.
Science- We will wrap up our discussion on Deserts and Grasslands with a test on Wednesday. We will focus on the Rain Forest.
Social Studies- The students will have a test on South Carolina Symbols on Tuesday. We will also start discussing the physical and human features of the six regions in South Carolina.
