Veteran's Day Parade
The class enjoyed the Veteran's Day parade. The chorus sounded great and it looked like everyone enjoyed their yummy breakfast. Happy Veteran's Day!

Curriculum
Math- We continue working in Module 2: Place Value and Problem Solving with Units of Measure. We will focus on lessons 15-19 this week. The students will have a quiz over lessons 12-14 on Wednesday. The students are using the website below in class that can help them with their subtraction, addition, multiplication and division fluency. If they have time at home they can practice as well.

Language Arts- We will also focus on using text evidence when answering questions related to different types of texts. We will continue discussing nouns (ex. proper, plural and possessive) and writing personal narratives.
Social Studies- We will wrap up our unit on Native Americans in early South Carolina with a test on Thursday. (Cherokee, Catawba and Yemassee)
Science- We will discuss water habitats. (ex. ocean, rivers, swamp, lakes etc.)
