Pumpkin Character Contest
Congrats to Hasani!! He won 2nd prize in the school pumpkin contest. He was rewarded with a bag full of goodies.

Curriculum
Math- We continue in Chapter 6: Relate Area to Multiplication. We will wrap up the chpater with a test on Wednesday. Please look for the study guide to come home on Monday. We will move into Chapter 7: Round and Estimate Numbers. If you would like to know what your child will be expected to do in this chapter, check out the Chapter 7 Family Letter. The students continue to use Reflex to strengthen their fluency with multiplication. They are welcome to use it at home too.
ELA- We will wrap up main idea with a test on Thursday. In writing, we continue our opinion writing unit. We read an opinion piece on why playing Roblox can benefit kids. There were a lot of opinions in the classroom about that topic. :)
Science- We will wrap up our focus on Habitat Changes by humans, animals and nature.
Social Studies- We will focus on Physical Features in our state, country and world next week.
