Sedimentary and Metamorphic Rocks

We formed the last two types of rocks this week. We used Airheads to show that Sedimentary rocks are formed from layers of sediment that has been cemented into layers over time. We also used Sour Patch Kids to show that Metamorphic rocks are formed when heat and pressure is applied to either an Igneous rock or Sedimentary rock. The students always enjoy using food during lessons. :)
