Weathering and Erosion
Students weathered and eroded their "rock" during science by blowing "wind" on it, dropping "rain" on it and using a toothpick to simulate a plant and animal. Students made observations of their "rock" after it was weathered or eroded with the different tools.
Curriculum
Math- We will finish up Module 7 on Perimeter with a quiz on Wednesday. We will then move into Time with the first five lessons in Module 2. The students are using the website below in class that can help them with their subtraction, addition, multiplication and division fluency. If they have time at home they can practice as well.

Language Arts- We will continue to focus on finding the Main Idea in texts. We will also continue to work on providing specific text evidence when answering questions. The students are working on publishing their informational writing pieces.
Social Studies- We will move into South Carolina Government.
Science- We will discuss Changes to the Earth including weathering, erosion, deposition, and natural disasters.
