What makes a VIP?
I have a VIP table in my room that a different student sits at each day. In order to be chosen as the VIP student one must exhibit the following: being a good example, doing your personal best, being a good model citizen, being a leader, being a good friend and being a hard worker. The VIP each day helps me decide who will be the VIP the next day. The VIP gets water and a snack from me as well as some fun supplies to use throughout the day and they get to choose one person to sit with them at a high top table at lunch.

Island Gal (Gullah Speaker)
Third grade welcomed Island Gal on Wednesday. She told stories, taught the students some Gullah words, sang and talked about Gullah traditions.
